Elizabeth Grush, MBA, PMP

V‍ice President, Equity and Healthy State

Elizabeth Grush serves as Vice President of Equity and Healthy State at Ochsner Health, where she leads the organization's strategic efforts to improve health equity and community well-being across Louisiana. In this role, she is responsible for aligning and executing key initiatives, including Ochsner’s Healthy State program, Economic Inclusion efforts, and the Ochsner Xavier Institute for Health Equity and Research (OXIHER). Her work focuses on addressing health disparities and improving health outcomes for all Louisianans.

Elizabeth collaborates closely with Ochsner’s System Medical Director of OXIHER and Healthy State, the Senior Vice President and Chief Diversity Officer, and the Senior Vice President of Government Relations and Public Policy. Together, they engage community stakeholders and statewide partners to address social determinants impacting health.

Since joining Ochsner Health in 2013, Elizabeth has made significant contributions to several key initiatives, including Ochsner Physician Partners, System Partnerships, Integration, and the Managed Care Incentive Program (MCIP). Her leadership has been instrumental in projects such as the Northshore hospital partnerships, Post-Acute Care Centers, OLHS – St. Mary Medical Center, community health centers, and the development of the Healthy State initiative.

With over a decade of experience in healthcare leadership, Elizabeth Grush is a passionate advocate for health equity and continues to drive to a healthier, more prosperous Louisiana.
